Welcome to the Charles Drew website


The Charles Drew Science Scholars Program provides comprehensive support services to students in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at Michigan State University with our emphasis on math and science. We provide the structured programming to enhance the academic success, career goal achievement, retention and graduation rates.

The Drew Program offers general and academic advising, tutoring, and academic coaching (courses in math, biology, chemistry, writing, as well as academics skills and scientific reasoning). Along with academic and career counseling, the Drew program directing supports student organizations and groups to enhance their undergraduate experiences. Through our residential component, student advisory boards and newsletter, we create a fluid and dynamic interaction between students and staff.
